Education First Scholarships

Overview
For the 2025–2026 high school year Education First will award college scholarships across its chapter cities. Each scholarship recipient will also have access to a professional college coach.
Awards
- In each chapter city we will grant two scholarships of $5,000 each.
- The Seattle awards have been increased to $10,000 apiece because of a contribution from a local foundation.
Who may apply
- Applicants must be graduating seniors enrolled at one of Education First’s participating high schools.

Eligibility - Competitive grants are open to high school and college students who are the children or spouses of current or former members of the submarine force, or of those who have served in submarine support activities. In addition, certain SubForce‑administered scholarships are available to current and former members of the U.S. Submarine Force. TGEF scholarship opportunities are available to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are either employees of a TGCSA member company or dependents of such employees.
Employment and eligibility timeline
