Established in 2014, our primary mission was to increase the number of first-generation college students from New Mexico who graduate with a four-year degree. To date, we have distributed over $54 million in scholarships and $3.7 million in grants.
The Davis New Mexico Scholarship is designed to bridge the generational opportunity divide in New Mexico.
Our focus is on supporting first-generation college students in their journey to obtain a Bachelor's degree and transition into financially independent adults.
We are committed to forging and enhancing routes to higher education for all first-generation college students.
Application Criteria
The Davis New Mexico Scholarship is intended for students who demonstrate academic success, resilience, and a strong commitment to completing their college degree in four years. If you are a first-generation college student from New Mexico, enrolled in one or more of our partner programs, and are dedicated to obtaining a college degree, this scholarship is designed for you.
Application Process
Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the Davis New Mexico Scholarship in the fall of their senior year using the Common Application. The application process is comprehensive, requiring essays, transcripts, and a recommendation from your counselor. However, once you have submitted your application for the Davis New Mexico Scholarship, you can use the same application to apply to hundreds of colleges and universities both within the state and nationwide.
