Introduction Scholarships play a crucial role for students and their families by reducing the financial strain of tuition and other educational costs. They expand access to both public and private schools and help tomorrow’s leaders pursue their academic and career goals. About FCSU Scholarships The FCSU provides more than 130 scholarships for members, supporting education from elementary grades through graduate studies and including vocational/technical programs. These awards are distributed by the FCSU national office as well as by local branches. Individual scholarships range from $500 to $4,000, and the organization awards in excess of $202,000 annually. Available Scholarship Categories Browse the following application types for full requirements and instructions: - Catholic GRADE School Scholarship Application (grades 5–8) - Catholic HIGH School Scholarship Application - COLLEGE Scholarship Application - GRADUATE School Scholarship Application - VOCATIONAL/TRADE Schools Scholarship Application Eligibility Requirements To be eligible, applicants must have maintained one of the following FCSU financial products for at least three years prior to April 1 of the year in which they apply: - At least $5,000 in reserve insurance (Ordinary Whole Life, Twenty Pay Whole Life, or Single Premium Whole Life), or - A new JEP policy with a minimum value of $25,000, or - At least $1,000 in Juvenile Life Savings, or - At least $500 in an FCSU annuity or a Coverdell IRA.
